Police in Northumberland are urging caravan owners and holiday makers to be on their guard for thieves this summer.
Officers are advising people to lock their caravans and tents and secure all valuables after a number of break-ins and thefts at holiday parks in the county.
In the last week there have been four reports of caravans being broken into in the Berwick and Westerheugh areas.
Each time the thief has either broken into the caravan through a window or got inside through an unlocked window or door. In one incident the thieves also broke into a car parked next to the caravan.
