Park for the night and gamestop seem to be sending us to closed sites or roads with no motorhomes allowed. In Cadaques heading for Begur any help appreciated. Cheers

Camper Contact is the most reliable, never had any problems spending a week going through Northern Spain a couple of weeks ago, and did a fair bit of it last year without problems. We don't use sites just Aires & wild spots. Doubt if any sites open this time of year.

Only problem I have with Northern Spain is restaurants don't open in the evening until 9:30pm.

In fairness, Park for the Night show mainly places that are public car parks with also some Aires. They give me less confidence when I have visited some of them but there are a lot to choose from.
Camper Contact seems a better bet in my opinion.

I think that you will find Catalonia is as far north as you can go on the eastern side of Spain, might be slightly more southerly than NW Spain but not a lot:)
I still call that bit Southern Spain to me and a lot of people Northern Spain is the Atlantic coast side.

I'm confused that looks like Southern Spain to me.
OP said Cadaqués
But in my first reply about campsites being closed, I did assume from the title northern Atlantic coast area or Picos.!

There are a lot of places that have banned motorhomes on the coast, the Spanish are up in arms and feel they are being discriminated against, loads have been fined, they are advising people to go to places that welcome autocaravanas and spend your money. ?
Go inland a bit and it's no problem, we use park 4 night and you make your own mind up, just because Joe bloggs parked up late one night and woke up to a fantastic view doesn't mean you will have the same experience, ? well you might but you could have a ticket or knocked up to move. ? Bob.

All these signs keep popping up, the Spanish seem to think they are not legal, I would not chance it, what do you think gus-lopez Richard, would you park there. ? Bob.
