Ynyslas Nature Reserve is also worth a visit. Take the coast road north from Borth and just keep going.
You can park on the sands of the estuary and explore, not sure about overnight there due to the tide.

Overnighted at Bala as well. and through W33 BritStops £6 breakfast and some great characters in the pub, very well looked after on route to Llandrindodd

I can’t seem to find b4518 lol but that area looks fab

LOL buy a good mapbook google is fine but you cannot see places of interest on google (7.99 from Asda)
Instead of turning left to Aberysthwyth turn right on the A44 to LLanidloes left there towards Bryntail Lead mine

porthmadog, nice steam railway, black rock sands- park on beach is allowed however charged for.
Er no .... parking on the beach overnight is not allowed. Too many people in recent years have used the dunes as toilets so the council now issue fines. Some nights there were 60-70 vans parking on the beach
