Looking for 6 mnths storage north east England?? Indoor preferred but not essential B-)
Teesside Caravans is a CaSSOA Gold Award site, outdoor though. We've never stored there but had work done by them and have been happy with that.
There is also a site at Tees Valley airport. No idea how good it is but I see that is CaSSOA as well.
I can recommend a site in York. If that is near enough for you.
Marquis in Birtley Co Durham have secure storage not indoor. No idea of cost
I have stored mine at Teesside Airport, whilst I rebuild my garage at home, they only do a year at £250 but being an airport the security is quite good, its nice to have Special Branch keeping an eye on the van rather than me!
Kinnersleys in Hartlepool are also CASSOA Gold and also outside. It's where we store ours.
The NE is a big area! We have ours at Brandsburton, just outside bridlington, very secure and £250 a year.
Do you want to be in and out or just parked up for six months, might be space where ours is kept and I could go in and say hello to it now and again, it is indoors near Stokesley.
My cousin stores his at Lingfield Indoor Caravan Storage at Darlington.
Tel. 01325 485533.
It's just off the A66 Darlington by-pass in what used to be the cigarette factory.
I think it is now called Lingfield Point, but I have no idea about rates or availability.
They are CASSOA Gold.
And unfortunately they don't appear to have had any vacancies for a while.
Just moving mine to Hartleys in Seaton Delaval 'cos my existing arrangement is closing down. CaSSoa Gold, quite reasonable rates.
Caravan Club site at Tees Barrage has storage White water cc site.
No idea of cost.
I have sent you a message
Hi everyone thanks very much for the replies :-D mrlly
There is farm at Milburn Grange near Ponteland that stores caravans and boats over winter. If this would be of any use I can ask around to see if I can find the phone number.
