Weather update:

We had a sprinkling of snow last night and today about 1inch on paths and grass, but roads are ok. May have some more tonight, Currently 0 deg.

I will continue to give updates when i can all the way into next week but should not be a problem travelling. :thumb::thumb:

Weather update

A couple of inches of snow on the ground now, but main roads are clear.

Currently -5 but nice and warm in trailer, Club open already and a few in the bar.:thumb::thumb:

DUE TO THE SAD CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING THE NEW YEAR BEER MEET BEING CANCELLED,

A SCOTSMAN, A SOUTHERNER AND A FEW SCOUSERS WILL NOW BE ATTENDING THE NORTH EAST COUNTRY AND WESTERN MEET.......

I HAVE CONTACTED THE LISTED BELOW WHOM HAVE SAID BRING IT ON,,,,

ALL WE NEED NOW ARE SOME COWBOY HATS AND BOOTS......

HOWEVER I THINK I WILL GET PAT & EDDIE TO LEND ME ONE OF THERE SHELL SUITS.


I HAVE SPOKEN TO KEITH AT THE CLUB AND ASKED IF IT WAS OK AND HE SAID HE DEFFINATELY HAD ROOM FOR 3 OF US (I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WOULD BE 5 BUT HE SEEMED EASY GOING ENOUGH, COULD YOU PLEASE CHECK FOR US MIKE & SALLY, IF NOT WE WILL HAVE TO SLEEP ON THE ROAD)

Have a great time everyone... looks like a lot of fun, although the Beer Meet is cancelled this is a be bit too far for us in this weather to join you all, so guess it is stay at home this time ​

Hi been thinking of booking this for a while as mentioned before but been waiting on weather forecast first.

So i have phoned up and booked it and have now noticed a few more booked so looks like it will be a tight squeeze.

There will be 3 of us Gerry Lorraine and our daughter Sophie and dont forget Toby the dog.

We will be arriving on the 31st late afternoon as i am on night shift on the 30th so depends when i get up. Will have to leave on the 2nd.

Have been told they will fit us on but might not have ehu shouldnt be a problem for a couple of nights plenty of gas to keep us warm.

What are the thought s on food and stuff for the bells as says we can bring food in to the club and what about during the day on the 1st anyone fancy having a bbq we did this last year when it was -9

See details of what is on in the earlier post, this is not a normal site it is on hard standing in the carpark and around the back of the club an area where they have meets, they have a licence for meets for 5 days there is electric 6 amp only and water also a elsan point.

should be a good time had by all we may not all get on the same table but who cares we will have a brill time.

Just a last note some of the electric points are a distance from all the hard standing parking area's so if you have a extra electric lead bring it along.

Weather update and directions.

Had rain all night currently 2 degrees little slippy in car park and paths, but roads fine.

Directions from south

A1 turn off at exit 57, A66 darlington
Straight over first roundabout
Right at next roundabout onto A167 Croft Northallerton
Follow for 2 miles
as you come into croft, just before the big bridge, turn left then immediatly right into car park.

From North

A1 turn off Jct 58
Left to darlington
Straight over next 2 roundabouts into cockerton
There are 3 mini roundabouts
At first mini roundabout in cockerton bear left
Next 1 turn right then next turn left
Follow road until next roundabout elm ridge, straight over
Next roundabout onto A167 Croft Northallerton
Follow for 2 miles
as you come into croft just before the big bridge, turn left then immediatly right into car park.

We are up for a BBQ, shall we all bring our own food, although we have'nt a barbie, only some throw aways!!

We have a small cadic bbq would do quite a bit so just let us know if anyone else is interested so everyone can bring something along.

Also i have managed to change my night shift tomorrow for a day shift so should be there earlier on Fri hoping to leave Dumfries about 10ish

If anyone who is going would like some of the moisture bags please let me know and i will bring a few for free they are like the small ones you get in new shoes but about the size of a bag of sugar.
