Just had a reply from Graham at Ambleside:

"I have reserved pitches for all the vans listed to date; if the weathermen are correct and we are in for a hot/dry summer there should be no problem getting you all parked up together on the grass."

I have to contact hiom a couple of weeks prior to the event to iron out the exact details, but the meeting is definitely on
I will post again nearer the time with any revisions etc -

Hello folks
I have been in touch with Graeme from Ambleside regarding the price rise at the site. See his reply below :-

"I too have been away for the last 10 days or so (on the east coast of Scotland) so forgive the delay responding.
Yes, as of 1st July there has been a price increase (see attached flyer) which became necessary following the enforced involvement of the local council in the running of things, however, since your booking was made prior to July 1st your rally attendees will NOT be subjected to the price increase.

I trust that clarifies things a bit.

I think Jim's approach for the Cheshire Show was that people booked in good faith before any mention of subscriptions so just let it stand and have a good time.
