Morning guys. I am off to Normandy in August for a week. Meeting a mate off mine whos grandfather was killed on the 10 th of June 1944. We are going to follow his foot steps from where he landed to where he was killed and go the where he is buried. I am meeting my mate in st malo as he lives in jersey. Does any body know a place to park at st malo for the nite and also a good site at Normandy. Been before always stayed at arromanche but if that's full I need a back up plan. Cheers.

We were in Normandy for the 70th anniversary and stayed at Camping le
Columbier .. Which is in Moyaux. Near Lisieux. Nice site and not busy when we were there. (August May we'll be different though)

Stayed on an aire near Omaha beach , had a petrol station at the front and lovely motorhome pitches in a field behind. There was a little chip restaurant and a toilet in a shed which was v clean! Didn't pay much it was about 3 yrs ago but I don't know the name, will try to find out!
