Has any one ben to Normandy at Christmas we were going to go to begum but its just as cheep to go to France Frome Newhaven.
I know it will be could but even a could day in the van is better than a coal day at home
and the vans fully warm air diesel heating.

You would be better going to Germany, for the Xmas markets, always something to see and take part in, a very festive atmosphere also

We've done Normandy several times Christmas/New Year and always been warm in the van. One Christmas Day several years ago we were actually sitting outside the van without coats as it was quite warm!

There are loads of aires which have electric which can be handy for additional heating. The main thing I'd say is to fill up with water wherever you can as not always available. We were there for 2 weeks one year and only found one aire without water but still filled up whenever we could.
