Hi GUys
I've recently posted about problems with my Burstner 747 (Fiat Ducato 57 plate)
I've had a new fuel pump fitted in the tank and everything was fine...for one week.
then it wouldn't start again, just kept turning over.
I've had it checked and was told it was the relay which has been replaced.
The mechanic has said its not just that and I need an autoelectrician to check it out.
to get it running he's bypassed the relay taken a lead direct from the battery and fused it.
this is a quick fix for this weekend and I'll book it in to an autoelectrician.
Any ideas ???

If the relay is not being energised then the ecu either has no output due to being faulty or more likely is missing an input signal.
Cranking should provide a start signal for the pump till it recognises either the cam or alternator output.
A code reader may help with diagnosis as there should be something in the memory if signals are missing

That is my first thought too ! It is pretty common, usually caused by a crappy install or worse, a removal of an alarm or immobiliser that has been done poorly
