Well some people do gives things away.

I gave away my Westerly 33' ketch in Greece to the guy who had helped maintain it for 20 years and who was going to receive it under my Will.

So I let him have it sooner and it is now in better condition and he and his family are enjoying it while we enjoy the MH.

Of course I did not advertise it :giggle:

I don't think gifts are taxable and after seven years it can't be included as part of one's estate.

So he did a crap job of maintaining it while you had it. :ROFLMAO:

I only asked him to come down from Canterbury to Greece for jobs I could not tackle, but gradually even I did not have time to get down from Poland to keep up with the other jobs and find time to do the sailing.

Family commitments constrained both of us.
