We returned via Dunkirk / Dover on 5th July after 10 weeks in France. Passport was stamped on entry to France but I now discover it was not stamped on exit to UK from France. This might mean we are still deemed to be in France???
We are booked to fly to Majorca on 5th August, but I have a concern that we may not be allowed thru UK Border control, or thru Spanish Border control as we are technically in France beyond the 90 days allowed in any 180
I called the UK Passport office for guidance, who advised me to take a copy of my return ferry booking, which will explain that I should be allowed to travel
Does anyone have any similar experience, or can offer suggestions to ease my concern

I would really welcome any help

I think you will find the stamps are increasingly irrelevant. Your passport will have been electronically scanned and therefore logged out of the EU. Nothing to worry about.

there is a big long barcode on your passport, that is what they record your visits with. The stamp is only a back up, they are too easily forged to warrant the security needed. But if you take a copy of your previous return ticket just in case.

Take the return ticket as proof, and ensure you keep it for the next few years.
And ensure your next exit/entry are clearly stamped, even if they say no need.

I was travelling a few years ago with a colleague into the USA, he got held up in customs due to not having a stamp for his previous exit.
Luckily he had other stamps in-between the dates, so they could see he had been out of the country.

According to my passport I've been in Singapore for over two years now. So could be a problem if i go back.
