We visited two RV dealerships on the east coast yesterday and there is no shortage of stock here in fact one dealer had rows of vehicles ready to transport to an upcoming show in West Palm Beach. Prices for smaller RVs under 30ft seemed very high with a one year old Tiffin a little bigger than ours with one slide out being $150k. The 4wd Mercedes panel vans were $200k new. Here if it's got a price sticker in the window you can buy it. Not much evidence of Lithium all had small generators. As for campsites one near our hotel with pool, golf, huge pitch 40amp ehu was an eye watering $200 per night and it's full.

I was at Cruise America then camping world, yesterday near Kissimee, packed full of people, coming and going loads of vans. Spring break is nearly over and all the snow birds are starting to head home after touring florida for the winter in rentals.

some of those slide out vans & 5th wheelers, are immense. Increased fuel prices here don't seem to be having much of a negative effect.

The nearest RV park to us in half a mile on the 27, sunnyside, and was showing as from $35 per night. basic camp ground I think.

Id imagine they will all start emptying out from this week, the golf courses are already calming down as they all fly back north.

And there are many on here who won't consider paying £20 per night!

The highest price I've seen so far was in Germany over a holiday weekend in June 22.
Similar facilities, pool, lake, beach, golf, cycle path, bierkeller, decent size pitch (enough for a smaller American RV), and that was €80/pn.
