Sorry to see that.

Get well soon.

That would be a disaster for me - it's my drinking arm.

I had one of those purple sling things when I had my op. How long did the surgeon say before you can drive again? They do lie! Mine said 6 weeks and then when I saw him after 7 weeks he said not until 12 weeks! Only another 3 and a bit weeks to go!!! Mind you I had a wrist fusion not the same op as you.

Going stir crazy now.

Consultant said entirely up to me, nurse said 2 weeks, only have to wear the sling for a couple of days and stitches out in a week. looks like there is a plaster splint on the palm and bandaged up to my elbow. Hand still numb from the local and I'm groggy from the general. Will be in a better position to judge tomorrow.

If it's a plaster slab bandaged on then it's illegal to drive but you can with a soft splint with metal supports but you must tell your insurance company so I was told before my operation when I had both types

Very strong proper coffee as it feels like I've drunk 2 or 3 bottles of red, so treating it like it. (slight headache and jelly legs):ROFLMAO:

Lenny

Not only do I hope you recover quickly, but also that the op achieves what you hope.

Thanks for the link to whatever it is the name of what you gave got. I have similar symptoms, but as that website says they could be from other causes. I have the lumps, for years, and cannot fully flatten palm of RH, but no pain so shall ignore for time being. I have always been a bit like that most times people have said 'You should go to the Doctor' and only rarely has the 'malady' not been healed by the body without outside interference, although I did take the medical advice on a fractured vertebra - result of over-enthusiastic gymnastics.
