I’m a newbie
Hi, we are looking at buying a VW transporter but it doesn’t have isofix. I don’t want my little one in the front seat and want to keep them rear facing. Can anyone recommend any solutions?

If it is just a belted option, how easy is it to move in and out of the van?

Thanks in advance

The Caravelle models have seats with isofix mountings. You might be able to change the seats. Have you tried the VW T4 - T5 forum?

I use an isofix seat for my Grandson without the fixing points in the car. The Isofix plate is removeable and it turns into a standard belted seat. We havwe used that one as well in the MH.
Check to see if your base plate is removable. Either that or buy a secondhand standard seat for the MH and leave the isofix in the car.
