No Hot Water (1 Viewer)

Hi all,I'm starting to find all the gremlins now that I've taken up residence in my mh. Theres no hot water being delivered to the kitchen or bathroom,when I turn on the hot tap the gas fires up and after letting it run for a while all I get is luke warm at best. I know absolutely nothing about gas water heating,all I can tell you is the unit is a Rinnai REU-56ES. I'm not sure if its the unit original to the van or not ( 1985 model autotrail) but as its going into Mercury RV tomorrow for solar and other bits I wondered if its something I can have a go at or should I just add it to the list for them to look at? Where possible and due to £ constraints I'm happy to have a go at most things.
Also wondered if anyone has used Mercury RV before?
