No Gas ! Help ? Anyone near Nantwich with a hose washer please ?.

So we set off today….

Filled the safefill as the calor lite 6Kg is empty.

Got on site….. I’ve lost the rubber washer out of the pig tale !.

If anyone is nearby I could collect.

I’ve done the JR Hartley rounds on yell.com no joy.

I’ve found a calor outlet with 6Kg normal but they won’t swap

I assume those washers fit on a propane regulator with handwheel to tighten.
It might be easier to find a new propane regulator that has brass face tightened by spanner.
Ok dearer than washers, but if no washers..........

Edit, if on a pigtail then a new pigtail without washer that needs a spanner?
Edit again, scrub regulator, have reread post and see its pigtail required.

Have you looked inside the valve? Is it possible that the rubber is stuck inside?

All sorted now.

I had to go to David Smithsons in Kidsgrove for nitrogen and Oxygen for work. He had a washer.

Home

I bought a second 10Kg safefill bottle for our caravan whilst I was there.

He no longer sells Calor and had over 100 cylinders waiting to be collected from last year.
