There has been a bit of snow chain chat around the various forums..........
For those heading to the Sierra Nevada for some snow or whatever.......and I saw loads of motorhomes heading there today and quite a few Brits amongst them..... It has been snowing heavy and they say it is perfect up there for slipping about on wooded planks [not my thing
].
It would seem that you may need snowchains even if not fitted. I was heading up there today for some Quad fun but even though I was in a 4x4 with big fat winter tyres I was stopped by the by the Guardia Civil and not aloud to continue. Maybe because I could not produce a set of "Chains". I thought they were just being anti-quad, but other vehicles without chains were also turned back.
So I returned to the sunny Costa :thumb:
