We are going to be selling our Niesmann - Bischoff Arto 64 GL,o but before we advertise it more widely, we thought we would see if any motorhomefunsters would be interested.

We brought it from Travelworld in February this year (one previous owner), however our plans have changed, so we are looking to sell it. It is in excellent condition, and had all the relevant checks and servicing when we brought it in February.

We are looking for in the region of £45k.

The online spec for an Arto 64 GL states it is 7 metres, but ours is 6.5 metres.
It was register in June 2010, and is 3ltr.t

Current mileage is 32,711, but we will continue to use it until sold.

Additional details are
  • a fixed rear double bed, and a drop down double bed
  • Large garage, accessible from both side
  • two additional (as well as the drivers and passengers) travelling seats with 3 point seat belts
  • Solar panels
  • Oyster satellite
  • Surround sound music system
  • External gas point
  • Two leisure batteries
  • Awning
  • Rear camera
  • Alarm
  • Shower in garage (for washing wellies or dogs)
  • Arto carpets
If you have any questions, please contact us, and we will try and answer them as we are new to motorhoming.

Just loaded some, and I’d forgotten the awning, rear camera, and alarm

Yes there are two bench seats opposite each other, the belated seats are underneath it is a very simple process to remove the bench seat and pull up the belted seat. The belted seat are proper seats that look almost exactly like the driving and passenger seats. If you want me to, I can take some photographs, but it will be in about an hour or two as we are out walking.

Photos of seating arrangement, and travelling seat, which can assembled and disassembled very easily, and takes about 1 minute. My brother in law has an Arto 69, and has removed the belted seats, as he didn’t use them, and is using the space for additional storage.

Hi. I am new here, and joined as we are coming back to a motorhome. Your Arto looks like it might be just right. I will send you a pm with email contact etc.

Hi it was advertised at 4000kg when we brought it, and the previous owner had a weighbridge receipt from 2015, to say it was 3340kg when completely empty, and 3920kg with two adults, full fuel, 2 full gas, 20lts water, 2 electric bikes, tools, tables and chairs, bbq, some more tools, and the spare tyre. However, you can reduce the weight if there are only two of you travelling, or you are happy for passengers to sit on the bench seats, as my brother in law has Arto 79 and has taken the two belted travelling seats that are stored under the bench seats out, and it has given him additional storage as well as giving you option of a greater payload.

Yes it’s still for sale, we’re not going to advertise it more widely until spring, unless we sell it before.

HI sorry I'm not sure I understand the question, but it has a double floor, is fully winterized, and has truma heating, which is very effective

Sorry I put that link on thinking it was in German which might be slightly easier to translate than the Italian

Hi no our heating system is the air vents that are, although at floor level, do not go between the floors. My brother in law has the system with pipes in his floor in his Arto, and I believe it’s called the Alde system, whereas ours is Truma.

I still would have thought the double floor will be heated though in a 2010 Arto, it is quality winterised van.

I would just like to confirm that this has the 3 litre 160hp engine, lots of torque and no cambelt to worry about. I wonder if its light enough you could get away with running at 3500kgs if you didnt want to put a scooter in it.

btw its my Sister-in-law selling it, Ive been in it its a lovely Mh with very little signs of use.
