We are returning from Spain, via Plymouth, and we needed a stopover somewhere north of Bristol, on our way home. We came across this on the search for sites app;
Fromebridge mill, pub and restaurant. Half a mile from the M5 junction 13, very large parking for any size motorhome/caravan/RV on the gravel/grass area.
All they ask for is a £10 donation to McMillan, wether you eat there or not. We had a meal and a few drinks, and it was lovely. The staff are very friendly, and helpful.
The parking area is away from the pub, so is very quiet, and a great stopover for transiting travellers. And for a tenner to a worthy cause is great, for a quiet, safe, stopover. There are no servicing facilities.
