Just had 3 nights 4 day's at "Eye Kettleby Lakes" near Melton Mowbray.
What a lovely dog friendly site. 10/12 lakes for fishing. Adults only (i think). Lovely walks around. A great Log Cabin type Club House serving beer one can drink. Individual shower rooms with toilet, sink, hair dryer, underfloor heating and very roomy.
The best full English i have had in many a year.
Some will say it's expensive for a fully service pitch, i wouldn't.
Walked into Melton Mowbray, 3 miles 1 hour down lovely country lanes for pies.
All in all a excellent site I.M.H.O. and one we will return to without doubt.

Looks good but I consider when I add fishing on top to be rather expensive

Plus I'm a bit difficult as I do not like to be told I MUST stay a minimum number of nights

Personally i don't do fishing. Noticed some lakes were £7 day.
We asked for 3 nights and no issue.

That type of site suits us perfectly, and we are happy to pay the premium for such. It helps limit the number of loud partying units

It's an adult only site BUT that only applies to the part your van is parked in, the fishing lakes and club house both allow children

The youngest kid we saw was about 66. It is school term but.
