Hi all, a friend of my partner has just opened a new touring site near maidstone, which we went to over the bank holiday. He hasn't spared a penny. All pitches come with EHU, plastic matting is under the grass, so no probs with wheel spins or getting bogged. The toilets are palatial, and the play area is fantastic which will suit those with young kids. Kevin, Tod (as she is called ) and the rest of their family will make you very welcome. We had a great time, with so much to see in the area, we were out on our bikes every day. Even had a cream tea at ' Teapot Island '. Look them up if your in the area or even on your way to pick up the ferry/eurotunnel. The place is called ' Still Acres '.

Regards Luke

Looks a really nice site. We don't go south often unless travelling from Calais but will bear in mind for next time.

Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
Looks impressive & the prices are very reasonable too, that's not always true of commercial sites.
We'd certainly give it a try when in the area. Here's wishing your friends every success in their new venture. Thanks for the link.

Thanks. Hopefully we'll get to try it out this summer at some point.
