glad that those of you that went to newbury had a good time and the weather was good, you would think that in this day of technology the weather people could get their forecasts right:Doh: well as you are aware we couldn't go because him indoors chose this week to injure himself, so apart from looking after him i have cleaned my car, (which was a disgrace::Blush:) then i cleaned up all the weeds from in between the flags outside which took me ages why don't they make a weed killer that kills them once and for all!! and i haven't spent one penny which will please him indoors, but i will now have to spend twice as much at stratford:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
see you at stratford (providing tony learns to stay on his feet:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:) i am now exhausted, still hard work done now soon be time for FUN again.::bigsmile:

The Sun is still shining in Newbury:Smile: Lindy-C and James have just left the camping ground, and we are just waiting on Ray and Joan (RayV8) to pop over for a glass of wine.::bigsmile: If Stratford weather is like this we will need plenty of Pimms:Smile:

What meet? I have approahed and made conversation with a couple of the campers on this Fun pitch but no one has come to me! Just a couple of friends from the ARV club.

Mind you went to Newbury on the shuttle bus had a few pints while we watched the scummers beat Cardiff:thumb: it was funny to see the Welsh whingers in the pub crying in their beer:thumb::thumb:

To make matters worse coming from Southampton we hate Pompey they will really rub our noses in it now!!!

Regards Pat

hi pat,

as i said i havent been to newbury so i didnt realize jim had to pitch with the traders meaning no meeting place on an evening

as tony said 'dont take this meet as the norm'.

at newark we had 32 motorhomes/rvs so thats around 70/80 peeps inc kids ect.

it does make it easier if there is a meeting point ie Jims show tent cum cafe cum pub as you know everyone there is a member.

hope to see you at stratford.

john.
