Hi Funsters, Both of us are still Working full time, maybe for another 5/7 years, so not known for my paitience we went for an older model. It appears that valuation wise, I should not lose too much beforeand as these new found type of holidays are way cheaper than we were doing before, the MH should pay for itself. this type of holidaying is not only more fulfilling it is way cheaper than the hotel, catered for holidays we always did on on our motorcycle. So much fun we can't get enough. Black Forest, Bavaria, Suffolk, Norfolk, Stourport and Cotswolds on our door step? Motorcycle, push bike boots all come along. We carry a fire pit with and occasionally are allowed to use it. Hope to hear about. All your adventures for inspiration and hangovers as a reminder. Glad to be on board.

Hi and welcome we also have a 694 year 2002 next model to yours, we carry a 650 cc Kawasaki Versys in the on board garage.
We also have a 2006 GS 1200 which we have literally ridden around the world.

hello and welcome, just a warning I think you have your holiday costs wrong. I spent 2 weeks in France this year and spent 82 euros in campsite fees :ROFLMAO:

That's what I mean, hotels were around 82eu PER NIGHT and a meal around 60 eu + per night. But now we get away all year round and still spend less than one 2 week holiday.

Hi, Forest boy, I don't have a garage, I use a side loading trailer, but would be interested to know the dimension of your garage door, do they still make them big enough for a proper bike?

You're right we just got back from 12 days in Spain at the Valencia Motogp.
4 day ticket €50 with seat, Valencia camp site 4 nights €6o and 8 nights on aires zero cost. So 12 days including 4 at Motogp just €110 less than a one day ticket at crappy Silverstone.

Not sure of dimensions except height 1.3m and a 650 Versys is hardly small
