I'm a newbie
Hello,

We are now the proud owners of our 1st motorhome and are busy getting all the bits and pieces together for it. We are very much looking forward to using it for weekend breaks (doesn't have to be too far away, I am sure there are plenty of nice places around without travelling too far.

Any tips are most welcome but we have been told, just get out there and use it, once you are parked up plenty of people will flock over with advice and tips for you.

We are looking forward to it. I need to get a kettle, as this is most important, won't be going anywhere until I can make myself a cuppa!

Best advice we can give, is get out there and enjoy and you'll learn as you go, it's what we've all done one way or another :)

Why not camp for the first weekend on the drive, especially as the winter and dark nights are drawing in. Then you can check all the systems, check you've got everything, make sure it works and you know how to work them and then it's not too far to go home to get the items you may need :)

Don't forget a food standards hose for filling fresh as well :)

Most importantly, welcome to the world of Funsters :)

Welcome from Glawster! We've only just got our first van too, and our first two jaunts have been to Fun meets! Can't recommend highly enough!
Hope you have as much fun in yours as we have in ours!
