Hi there, new to a Motorhome but previously a caravanner !
Anyway after the pandemic ended a 22 year career and job searching not being fruitful , we decided to sell the caravan to a family member and buy a motorhome. Rather than do the usual , as I'm time rich decided to take on a project , its a Mark 1 Ren Trafic based Landsleeper. I believe these were built by O'Leary .
I've rebuilt several classic cars , done re-chassis on a Landie and considered doing a self build based on a 130 chassis but decided to start with what I Hope will be a classic. So bodywork and paint not a concern , hope my carpentry skills match my metalwork skills!
It has various damp issues but as the plan was to completely remodel inside anyway that doesn't worry me too much and it was cheap . So its home, outside my workshop , on SORN and the work on tracing the leak source(s) has begun , first is the central skylight but as its fitted with a roof rack , various vents and aerials on the roof that won't be the only source.
