I did a self build years ago, very rewarding. Wish I had the internet and sites like these then I can tell you!

Theres a ton of sites out there and youtube of course on selfbuild tips and hints. This site is cool for great stuff like where to camp, where to go, touring etc etc and actually spending time in a Moho. And if you are stuck and need advice the folk on here are amazing!
