Newbie question

Hi, we are total newbies to motorhomes and purchased our motorhome the weekend before lockdown and it's now locked in storage. My question is about water, on site there are two taps, drinking water and waste water, I understand what you use each for but is the water the same quality from both taps just how you use them. Sorry if this is a stupid question but it's puzzling me.

99% of the time the taps come from the same water source, and, as you say, it’s just their use that is different. The idea is to stop people shoving a drinking water tap into their toilet cassette, before the next person comes along with their hose or water can and taking water to drink from it. There may be the very slight chance of someone using rain water for waste water flushing, but I’ve never seen it personally

Always best when filling up with drinking water to use your own seperate food grade (blue) hose, and have a selection of different tap fittings.
