Newbie question re:-Kador strip

As I understand it, the figure of 8 strip are all for 6mm, Will a 4mm kador strip hold in the figure of 8 or will it pull through.
My awening on MH takes 6mm, the drive away is 6mm. I have a 6x4 kit. and wondering if I'd get away with it or do I really need to get a 6x6 strip?

The smaller will pull through.
Are you sure you need figure of 8?
Can you run the driveaway bead into the awning if both same size?

It just makes life easier, give a little lea-way for when you return and re-attach
It's sorted now. Got kador strip with both 4 and 6mm on both sides, so now got all angles covered.
Can now list this as answered/resolved.
