Hello DIYMH folks ?

I would dearly love to self build a high top, LWB panel Van into a 3 berth camper. I have a budget of approx 10k. However, there's no way (disability reasons and lack of skill) that I could do it myself.

Can anyone advise whether a conversion specialist could do a simple but quality conversion (basic water/heat/kitchen, fixed bed, portapotti, electrics, good insulation, special mobility access not needed) on a 5k base vehicle and 5k on materials/labour. Or am I dreaming?

Hi Jen
Given your budget you might find it easier/cheaper to buy a slightly older second hand van, there are lots out there sub £10k that have plenty of life left in them.
