Hello all, Finally got our Motor home and are currently on Riverview Touring park,Wales courtesy of the dealership, it's so nice here we have booked until Tuesday, it's extremely well presented, and the wardens are like busy bees and very helpful,,I noticed nearly all MHs have a rolling water carrier,,question: how do you pump water into the MH..and where can I get the equipment..Kind regards ,,living the dream..

Some vans are built with that system,,,don't know why its something else to carry..Find a filler cap much easier,,you can fill with a hose or in my case a large watering can,,BUSBY.

I just fill the tank with a "watering can" (y)

… or a hosepipe.

Motorhomes usually have far larger fresh water tanks than a lot of caravans, hence it is not as necessary to immediately refill every time you flush the loo.

I think what you are seeing is not typical. A few folk use the rolling water carriers for motorhomes but the vast majority don't. Perhaps you have stumbled onto a rally of them. :)

I suggest give the hosepipe and watering can approach a try for a while.

Maybe your MoHo has a whale connection?

Ours has both a lockable filler cap and a whale connector. If we are being greedy, it might only last two days, usually longer. The grey water needs emptying every day or it gets pretty heavy.

Please don’t use the above link as a recommendation as I’ve never heard of them.

The bit in the middle clicks into place under a cover usually on the outside of the van. Connect to a drinking water supply, it shuts itself off when your tank is full.

Have you got the hose with the white end. It’s needs fitting carefully with the hinged bit in the slot, otherwise it might not work.

I carry a second flat hose reel and so far haven’t needed to move the van to fill up. I also rarely fill up at home as every site we have used so far has had taps relatively close to the pitches we have used.
