newbie motorhomers!! (1 Viewer)

Hello Allan and Angie from Doncaster, Just bought an ex ambulance conversion, Renault Master t35d 1997. Its a cracker. The only problem we are having is starting it. We have two very large powerful batteries in the front and its acting as if they are flat.
We haven't left anything on, and it started yesterday afternoon with no probs. :Sad:
Just can't fathom it!!! Can anyone help?

hello, thanks for the welcome, the batteries came with the camper, but they have been fine since we got it.

Welcome to Fun, the batteries are purely leisure batteries and do not start the engine.

They do need charging up from the mains or engine running (which is expensive on fuel if you are parked up.)

Thanks for the info, We know that one of the batteries is a leisure battery but still doesn't explain why the other one won't start the engine when it did yesterday with no probs. Thanks anyway, I'm sure we will sort it eventually.

thanks everone for trying to help, we have sorted it!!! One of the batteries is completely shot. connected to another battery, everything fine now.
