Been through Rouen many times and had no problems. Just follow the main road through. If you turn off (which you shouldn't need to) DON'T ignore low height signs.
I'm glad there are actually signs , as i thought there were none that was why a few drivers had got caught out,, or are the signs a bit late , maybe that was it

Be careful if you let him swim in some lakes by the Alps. Some have crocs in which were released by idiot owners.

erm, excuse me but my boy loves crocs and he so not afraid of them, the pink ones are his favourite  he also likes to chew on my old white pair (y)

Hello and Welcome. France is fine, loads of people actually live there, and lots of them have dogs. Just go, bound to have a few laughs and hiccups along the way, we always do even after 25 years. Oh, and don't worry if you forget something either, they have shops as well, crafty those French. Perhaps we don't like them but they don't half get it right sometimes.

We toured France 10 years ago by car, all we had in those days was a road map. We had the best time ever, every night we would check into a different hotel and my Husband Steve would push me up front to ask for a room as I can speak a little French and EVERY single time the reception would reply back in English to me "its ok Madame I speak English" I would always joke " how very dare you, I am so obviously French !!!" just shows how rubbish my French was :D although one guy did once tell me my accent was cute:cool:
