Hi from Simon and Elia, we have just collected today our first ever MH it's a Autocruise Starfire 1999. We have joined CCC and in the next few weeks will take our very fisrt journey/weekend to St. Neots site.

A few questions on TV's and Microwaves? Are they ordinary household items just needing a 12v adaptor or do you need separate units, I was thinking of using the bedroom TV and kitchen Microwave is this possible?

Thanks in advance

Simon

Hi and Welcome to Fun,
If you are on a site with electric hookup (ehu) yes you can use your house tv and microwave no problem most uk sites ehu has high enough amps for both, if you are without ehu you wouldnt be able to use the microwave but the tv could be run via an invertor which is big enough to handle it. The invertor connects to your 12v system and allows you to plug a domestic plug for a tv or other small electrical items.

Hi Simon
Welcome to the site, One thing to remember if you are on EHU is not to have to many things on at once you will trip the site fuse , some you can get at to turn back on :thumb:eek:thers you have to go to the reception to report it:cry:, best to use low watt items to avoid this if you can.
