Ford Transit
Hi guys,

I recently bought a converted Ford Transit, former ambulance!

I'm hoping to live in it full time for a few months in the UK so I want to keep things as cheap as possible.

I'm really worried about parking and sleeping overnight on the streets, out in remote areas and in car parks - all sorts of terrible scenarios running through my head!

Can anyone ease my fears with some good advice? Do's and do nots??

Welcome, stick with the forum there’ll be loads of advice coming along shortly…
Someone is bound to ask for more details about your van, size, facilities etc in order to help you more. It sounds really doable , enjoy! :welcome4:

Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
:HelloThere: :welco: Perking near others who are wild camping or overnighting is always a good idea.
I'd be cautious of showing that your a female alone, by that I mean once your parked, be cautious when anyone else is around.

Have a wee chat with our very own Joy movan , she is extremely helpful & will give you sound advice.

I fulltime although I am parked up at work most of the time so it's really safe. I have travelled a lot in Europe parking up in all kinds of places. You get used to it and you get a feel for a place. If it doesn't feel right, move on.
