Hi everyone,

just connecting up my first gas cylinder....

Is it okay to connect the pressure regulator to the valve? I've been trying to find the right hose to do this but still can't find the right one!

But they actually fit together quite nicely...

Please let me know if I'm being a complete idiot....

I see what you mean but the valve from Flogas in bronze colour was pre-assembled. Seems to be a good fit into the regulator in silver. Have only finger-tightened for now in case I need / can find the right type of hose!

I think one of your problems is that you have a bottle of patio gas which usually use a clip on regulator.

The regulator you have is normally mounted on a bulkhead and connected to a gas bottle with a pigtail, which is better for a permanent set up.

Ah okay. Thought I would get a lighter bottle to save some weight... Will get one of those next time. Many thanks
