Any ideas for a UK site for new year? We are thinking of heading out on the 27th of December and seeing in the new year in the van. Can be anywhere in the UK, we are North West based with 2 small woofers. (dogs)

Caravan & Motorhome Club CL Mollance near Castle Douglas would be my choice. Not too far away from you either about 165miles mostly motorway.

We've been up to Moffat for the last few years. We stay on the ccc site . Celebrate in Brodie's for New Year's Eve . See the bells in with all the visitors and locals in the street.
Most of the pubs let dogs in . Great walks in the area.

Hi Peter & Julie sorry to put a damp squid on thing but you will be very lucky to find any vacancies over the Christmas and New year period on the popular sites, certainly Moffat which has no pitches available.
