Maybe a bit late, it was magic for the Jazz Festival in August. Whole town tarted up and buzzing. We'll be looking out for that next year.

We had a mini FUN meet on the rugby pitch, who knows, might grow next year.

You'd be a brave man to go to Spain and try and get help in an emergency unless you are fluent in Spanish and carried a Spanish translated medical record. You would be uninsured if something did turn nasty, you'd not get cover for your existing condition.

Let's hope 2011 is going to bring you a bit better luck.

That might not be correct, I got offered full cover in 05 after my bowl cancer op in 04, dear though, around £800 I believe for 30 days, I was also offered, and accepted lesser cover which excluded anything to do with the op for about £200.

Their are companies out there which specialise in this sort of insurance, which the mainstream companies won't touch.

As much as we would have liked to come, I don,t think my system could stand a funsters new year party directly followed by a centre parks week with the kids

Liz just came home and I got a Bol**king for cancelling the new years bash without first discussing it with heroh:

So we will be arriving most likely on the 30th leaving on 1st so that we will at least get some sleep before going to Centre Parks

Lucilie , Staging Lady, is planning to stop overnight at our place on the way to you so prob will arrive together

At least thats the plan so far

It's about 4 hours away from our house. If you're thinking of going you're welcome to stop overnight with us to break the journey, but better check with Jim first if he can squeeze you in. We'll probably be going over on the 30th returning on the 2nd.

Jim (and everyone) - don't worry if not - just that it would actually have been a good opportunity for us to meet a few others - bearing in mind Pete's normal working week is (only) Friday Saturday and Sunday !!!!
