Hi I’m new to the forum, I’m looking to upgrade my wheels on my boxer, was looking at the BF Goodridge tyres, what size wheels can I go to without and problems of tyres rubbing on the wheel arches

You might want to watch this first… there not the best on “normal” driving and there is better alternatives that are cheaper…😎

sfpp1234 I suggest you research the effect on gearing before changing wheel/ tyre size.
I started a long thread about my new MH being sluggish and too high geared compared with a similar previous MH. This led to a constant need to keep changing down on motorways that seemed relatively flat.
My conclusion was that the only real difference was the size of the wheels The new one had 16" v 15" on the previous MH.

Hi, I changed my 2010 Boxer PVC wheels from standard 15” steel wheels to 16” Alloys with the BFG KO2 225/75/R16 tyres (see my profile pic).

They look a snug fit but do not rub or touch at all. I’ve even since fitted mud flaps and although the space for the new wheels/tyres and the mud flaps looks even tighter (especially on the rear) again they still do not touch or rub.

Yes I think I can hear some extra road noise but a 12 year old Boxer based camper isn’t exactly quite to drive in the first place.

Not noticed any real difference in gearing in general driving and my speedo is now almost spot on with GPS speed (maybe still 1mph over).

I fitted Davanti Terratoura AT's last year.

Just back from a 2500 mile trip of the Austrian Alps, down to Monaco and back to the UK. Weather conditions have been variable to say the least, but the tyres have performed really well in all conditions. No discernible increase in noise and excellent grip in rain, slush and snow with the benefit of a significant improvement in ride with the added benefit of no crashing and banging as was the case with the Conti Vanco's supplied with the motorhome when new.
