Having new tyres fitted Wednesday, Hankook Vantra 215/75r16 116/114 ( up from 113 Michelin cp) , so I thought I would email Hankook with axle weights and get tyre pressures.
All I got back was check manual or door shut sticker or they sent a link to Tyresafe website.
That came back with 3.54 bar ( 51psi) front and 4.08 bar (59 psi) rear.
Original Hymer press for Michelin was 4.5 bar front and back

I also pinged Toyo to confirm pressures with a response of front 50 psi (1650kg) and rear 50 psi (1650kg). Also the Tyresafe website produced the same result. Will be testing out the new lower pressures on the weekend and hoping for a smoother ride.(y)

New tyres fitted now, thought I would have four to sell, tread 5mm on two and around 4 on the other two.
Checked condition before I advertised them now only got 3 for sale.
This isn’t do good and a good I changed them but it 2012 dated tyre, I think this must of been inside wall.

Tyres rot unfortunately, I don’t care what make, it’s rubber, it degrades over time, some quicker than others! These are my contis campers dated 2013

Borrowed from an fb post so not sure of tyre manufacture, but similar to what Continental quote.

Manic how are you getting on with the new tyres? Did you resolve the tyre pressure?

I’m running 60 65 on Toyo 215/70/15

First run with them last weekend, much nicer ride and quieter than the bone shaking Michelins I replaced.
I run same tp on same size tyres at 1850Kg and 2000Kg. I find these tp and Alko chassis make for a lovely smooth ride on undulating roads. Previous mh was at 80psi with CP tyres and Ducato chassis and what a bone shaking ride they gave.

First real trip away this weekend to the Thetford bash and I’m really pleased with the way the tyres feel, a lot better ride.
For the tyre pressures, I went on the Tyresafe website and put in my axle weights ( I haven’t been to a weighbridge for a few years, so added a bit to each weight for now) and that came out at
Front 54psi/3.71 bar (1720kg)
Rear 61psi/4.22 bar (1910kg)
