I need to get some new tyres, the sidewalls are just showing light cracks so its time:cry:

Ive got michelin XC 215 75R 16Cs, it seems the michenlin igilis are the direct replacement?

can the metal valves be reused or not?

any deals out there my local fitters can do them at £155.ish each

many many years! since I was a kid
they need checking for any signs of corrosion, if clean, they will be fine. not massively expensive to replace though, and after 5 or more years on a wheel in the elements, it may be best practice to renew

Cracking doesn't happen evenly all around the circumference , it tends to develope where the weight is taken in the parked position and this is completely random. So park on a good bit and there'll be none visible, roll a foot and there they are gaping at you.

the valves may be metal....but the seals are rubber and if fitted a few years ago may benefit from new seals as they do degrade like tyres
