You have three options. A "cheap as chips" 12V lead with appropriate plugs for a few quid, a 12V regulated supply for around £15-£20 from eBay or the unit from manufacturers at £60.

It depends on what level of risk you're happy with. If you want "belt and braces warranty cover", go with the Cello one. If you're happy with a very small risk go with a 12V regulated supply from another manufacturer. If you don't mind taking a small risk then go with the cheapie option.

    We went for option 2.

I just went to Maplins. I took the existing power lead which came with the TV, so I could match up exactly the small plug on the 12V end of the lead which plugs direct into the TV.
I then connected that small plug to a fused 12V Cigarette type socket which connects to the vans 12V power outlet.

    Total cost less than £5.

If you know which size plug goes into your TV you can easily find a pre-made one on eBay.

Faced with the same problem after buying a Cello TV went to Amazon and bought a car socket lead for under a fiver works fine, you need to be sure your buying exactly the right power plug as there are a number of sizes. If in doubt visit your local Maplin with the Cello unit and buy a matched up 12 volt lead.

The unit I bought on Amazon was.:
Top LED 5.5Mm X 2.1Mm Dc Plug Led Car Cigarette Lighter Power Cord Charger Cable 1.2M
