New toll on the Ap 7 in Spain near Vera. (1 Viewer)

New toll rd on AP 7 near Vera .
Our sat nav took us on the above Road even though we set it to no tolls.
Anyone know when this toll started?
We want to go on to Calnegre but the sat sav takes us on the same road that we know is now a toll road.

AP7 has been a toll road since it was built as far as I know, certainly for the last 6 years.

A7 is the free road south to Almeria.

Spanish roads designated AP are peaje, thats what the P is for.

Was down there 4 days ago. All 3 Aires packed and the night before we got there, the Guardia apparantly moved about 30 "wilders" off the beach area. Luckily, we were staying elsewhere and just visiting. Seems its not just Benidorm that's packed.

I can second that AP7 (peage) has been toll since it was built from south of Murcia/ La Manga to Vera . You can still pick up the A7 near Murcia. However for circa 14 euros it is a good road.
