Recently subscribed to this site and have up-loaded my first post today.
We are due to receive our first motorhome early in June (2013) and it is a Burstner Nexxo T660 (2010) with a 2.2 Ford Transit base.
We live in Normandy, France and have recently sold our holiday-accommodation business, after 10 years, and have retired. We plan to travel around France, and other mainland European countries, and spend long winter months in southern Spain and Portugal, in the M/home, where it usually is much milder than France and UK.
There is a lot we need to learn about motorhoming but we are looking forward to it all and, along with our much loved Golden Labrador (who we hope will soon be able to drive the 'van - so that we can chill-out in the lounge with a cuppa or glass of wine!) we will enjoy it all, we trust.
We also hope to meet up with other members of this site on those evenings when we meet and share a glass or two of something intoxicating.
