Hi everyone

One week on from my last update here is the update on the puppies -

All are doing well and gaining weight. Their eyes opened three days ago and there is no stopping them now! They are sleeping for long periods of time and Maeve has had a rest from them constantly feeding. Howie is sure that one of them was barking today!

We registered them today at the Kennel Club and they are now offically know as Wyaye Black Diamond (Jack), Wyaye Whinger of the Wanney (Victor) and Wyaye Hadrians Warrior (Miki).

Rory is a proud dad and wants to play with them! However Maeve is not too keen on that idea as yet! She is a great little mother and keeps them all under control.

We are going to move them downstairs tomorrow so that they get used to noise and general goings on in the house.

They have had their worming medicine for now and it was a bit like a neonatal unit and drug calculations based on their weights! At least the next time they get the medicine they will be bigger and hopefully on solids.

Here are a couple of pictures of them taken today - in decending order is Victor, Jack and Miki. The other picture is of Victor looking at the clock to see if its feeding time!

Aren't we Brits wonderful?

Something about doggies, and we have by far the largest single thread on our site!!

(Not knocking btw, my best friend is a dog, Chiefie! Well, he thinks so, and so does the rest of the family, but they think he's my only friend.)

Four weeks old today!

Hi folks

Four weeks on from when they were born, the pups are now running around, barking, playing with one another and starting to eat food other than feeding off Maeve! Howie says that he is wearing as much rusk as they are eating!

Rory is the proud father and allows them to sit on his bed whilst theirs is being changed. Maeve is an attentive mother and keeps them all in check. They are all growing and even the smallest one is now catching up with his brothers.

They all are individual characters - Victor continues to whinge, Jack is the adventurous one and the Mici is the little fighter with regards to food.

Here are some of the latest pictures of them and will continue to update the thread.

Hi everyone

Sorry that I have not update you all on the puppies progress for a while - busy with work and them!

They are all now running around like greyhounds! When we let them out of their pen they are off exploring around the living room. I found Victor in the hall contemplating the stairs today!

They are enjoying their rusks, baby food and goats milk. A trip to the pet shop was called for during the week to get some chew toys as their teeth are very sharp and thought it was better to get them something to chew on other than our fingers.

As you can see from the photos, they have become aquainted with chicken elvis! This is one of Rory's favourite toys and they dont seem to be afraid of it like Maeve is! Their other favourite game at the moment is jumping on and off the big dog bed - its a bit like kind of the castle!

Rory has been playing with them but he is still a little unsure and when they all charged him the other day he ran off! Maeve is keeping order and making sure that the play does not get too voilent.

Regards

Kath & Howie

No, unfortunatly we cannot keep them all as would have 4 dogs and 1 bitch so not really feasable.

They are all sleeping now after a run around the sitting room and at the latest weigh this evening range from 1160 grams to 1780 grams - what a change from when they were born 6 weeks ago tomorrow!
