Hello All!
We have been motorhoming for 13 years, starting with a 14 month trip around Europe after I had been made redundant. I thought that redundancy was a disaster, and it is for many, but for us is was the best thing that could have happened. Time to do all of those things that we had always wanted to do but never had the time. A motorhome was always a dream that might be fulfilled when we retired but suddenly it became possible and we have been hooked ever since.

a 14 month trip around Europe

Wow! That's some initiation to motorhoming. Some people wouldn't last 14 days sharing a motorhome, yet alone 14 months.
I have always hoped to have an extended (as in 12-months) trip around the U.S.A. in an RV, but the longest we have managed is several 6-month trips in our motorhome around Europe. The Old Man missed his mates and I missed my garden, but apart from that we were OK.
