    Saw this in Cartagena today, according to the BBC a few days ago it was impounded in Gibraltar as the Russian owner still owed a few million of the £350m it cost to build. The middle mast is apparently 300ft high. 20170302_111002.jpg

    We saw it in Kiel dry dock last June. Just the 3 masts sticking out of the top of the enclosure. It is huge!

    I was about to say God that's ugly. Then I saw your post so I'll simply say "Agreed". I've seen more elegant electricity pylons (y).

    $400 million of ugly. Or maybe pounds, can't remember. Owner's rep said that the 'misunderstanding' about the outstanding $15.5 owing would be sorted ASAP, so I guess a Russian with a suitcase of cash arrived in Gibraltar recently.

    Masts as tall as Big Ben, 8 decks levels and a crew of 58. The world's largest sailing yacht, apparently.

    It's called "Sailing Yacht A" and the owner also owns "Motor Yacht A" which is up for sail if you have a spare £200M though he might be open to an offer. :)

    It takes all sorts, don`t suppose the sails will be hoisted on a daily basis.
