Forgive me but I often say this - Have you considered DIY? Will bring the job down to £200 all in instead of £550 typically.

If he had he would have, if you dont have recommendations then a pointless post.

Mr-Snod I have no idea but I hope you get a useful reply and suggestions.

Errrr.... excuse me Mr ShiftZZ ....... But pointing out he can save a bundle doing it himself is quite relevant IMHO. People new to solar systems don't necessarily realise that is it is a perfectly possible DIY job for a lot (not all) people. Nor does my answer prevent any other Funsters chipping in that know his local area.... and in 5 hours of the post nobody else has answered.

He asked about someone installing a solar, nothing else.. There may well be a reason why he choses NOT to do it himself, that's why he asked for a recommendation...

DuxDeluxe your old stomping ground? Suggestions?

Sorry, I don’t have any real suggestions. Maybe Theonlysue might know someone?

feeling grumpy tonight shiftz?
Not really the funster asked a specific question and and answer was not helping.bit like saying "where can I buy a Fender Guitar, answer buy some wood Build your own

If the question had been , tips on installing your own solar fair enough
I had mine fitted by a Funster trader, turns out he was more of a cowboy than John Wayne, cricodileclips!!!
A lot if Funsters either dont have the skills or inclination to do DIY and just want the benefit.

The only people I would trust to do any work on my van would be
Vanbitz
Terry
BR csrtronics
Venture caravans

I've done very little mods on my van, I simply dont have the skills tools knowledge or inclination. Gas, electric and water, no thanks, leave it to the experts.

A hole in the roof of a van could end up as an expensive job

Hi all. the reason for asking and i thank you all for your replys.
I dont like ladders
i dont like the thought of drilling holes in my roof
i dont like electrical cables.
So best thing is to ask for help and have someone who knows what they are doing and how to do it.
Money to save is not the issue.
Thanks everyone
Oh...Fender Guitar.....id like a Telecoustic.....anyone got one ?

Cheers

Nice , love the pedal board. what music are you into?
Anything I can play really, Mozart to Motorhead ,struck out with a few bits of gizmo . Pedal situation is a Bcb60 Filled with whatever needed to shut the neighbours up.
Do you play ?

Sort of not very good learning again,, couple of Squire's one Fender Strat MIM, couple of gizzmos' love experimenting with different sounds...
