Looking for some advice.
I currently have a coach built and considering an A Class (when and only when it is safe to do so).
Is there a new version from any manufacturer of drop down bed large lounge model similar to a Hymer B544?
Ideally, below 7 metres.

If youre looking for brand new, then Frankia have some innovative models, but there's only one dealer in the UK.

Sub 7mts A class vans by and large seemed to have been dropped by manufacturers in the mid 2000's. Second hand models from that era could include but are not limited to Hymer, Concorde, Euromobil, Rapido, Pilote, Burstner or Niesmann+Bischoff.

We have a Rapido 9048DF but this is no longer a current model to order new. This is 6.49 m. Ours is 2016 not sure when this stopped being manufactured. Hope this helps.

Nobody’s mentioned Carthago. Similar build quality to Hymer. The A-Class range start at 6.3m, and they have a number of ones under 7m in length. The C-CompactLines are all 2.12m wide so narrower than than most, but don’t feel cramped at all. There’s also the C-Tourer range (standard width) and the more expensive Chic. All definitely worth a view.

I would like to see the new Auto Trail A class, ok, ok, I know what is coming now, I still have faith that occasionally they can build one that does not fall to bits or replicate a mobile shower.
We have had four new AT ‘s over the years and they have all been virtually trouble free and our next one will be an AT. Fingersxxxxxxxxxx’d

Thank you one and all, I will have a look at these. C1 is not an issue for me.

We looked at that, but compared to our dethleffs we had at the time, although the kitchen was probably the best kitchen in any motorhome, the bathroom felt small and clothes storage was minimal, otherwise we really liked it (oh and the bed was smaller)

Have I missed something here as I don't quite understand the question, if you want a van similar to a Hymer 544, then why not buy a Hymer 544 ?
