New Sky System (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know if the new Sky system has the same LMB as the old one, will the old one work with the new Sky box.

If you mean SkyQ it's a different LNB. IIRC it's a "wide band" one or something similar. When we upgraded they changed the whole dish.

The Q box also needs a decent broadband connection to work properly.

It's also a different viewing card that won't work in any other type of box so you can't use your old box in the van either.

Sky Q uses a "wide band" lnb.
Sky other boxes, and freesat , and most other receivers, use "universal" LNBs
But Sky do supplu a "hybrid" LNB with both wideband and universal output, for those that want to use SkyQ and other receivers...
