Saw these this morning on Fleetwood Prom. However the height barrier has not yet been opened up. say 6 foot 6 inches but is nearer to 7 foot 6 at this time

Not knowing the area;

Is this progress,

or additional restrictions?

Thank you for the information.

Its official usage for the overnight parking, if you go on Google Earth and put in Fleetwood Marine Hall, its the car park to the right with the sea and beach in front of you, its directly adjacent to the cycle path and you can go all the way through Blackpool on the Prom or catch a tram at The North Euston Hotel, Fleetwood as a town is a bit tired but regeneration projects are smartening it up, You have a Freeport Shopping Centre, Cheap fuel at Asda and a ferry to Knott End and more coastal cycle paths , If you like beaches the beaches are wide and clean, good birdwatching at Rossall Point and Sea fishing. Much quieter and a bit more genteel than its neighbour!

You can't beat a bit of a walk on the prom with fish & chips. True it is a little run down nowadays but the more people that go and spend a little may just help it get back some of its former glory :cool:
